Campaign: Paslode Nail Selection Guide
Elements: A bold diecut front cover and gatefold showed the product at near life-size, and strong clean graphic treatment drew readers’ attention to key merchandising features. Paslode sales staff and management were included in the design process, and store vists were made by the publisher to fully understand the merchandising environment the product had to work in. Extra copies of the magazine were provided to sales reps to use as selling tools, and were especially useful at store level.
Results: Retailer enthusiasm created by the magazine promotion meant that 6 months of merchandising was requested in just 3 weeks, proof that the message had been effectively conveyed to the market.
