GEON executive General Manager Andrew Durrans is urging future awards entrants to incorporate a conscious commitment to such prestigious events in their everyday work practices.
Mr Durrans is in a prime position to provide consul, with his company having taken out this year’s Supreme Award, on top of a swag of Gold Medals and Highly Commended citations at the Pride in Print awards 2011. The Supreme Award was for GEON’s production of Urbis # 57, for MPA member AGM Publishing, about which judges said “this job raises the bar in New Zealand printing”.
Mr Durrans says one of the key steps GEON takes is to review output on a rolling basis to identify potential award-winning work as it is produced during the year. Read More…
